Disable/Enable Unity Lens with Lens Toggler in Ubuntu 12.04 Precise


Here is tool that which is really nice at work for Ubuntu Unity to disable Unity lenses. Till now there is no such application to disable/enable lenses but it is available now. Before this tool the only way to disable lens is to uninstall. It is only available for Ubuntu 12.04.

To install Lens-Toggle in Ubuntu 12.04 open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:aking1012-com/lenstoggle
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install python-lenstoggler

 

After installing Go to Dash and search "Lens Toggler" to open it disable/enable lenses and apply.

Logout and login back to see the effect.
